Have you, guys, heard about the Visitor Rebate Program for business and leisure visitors? I've heard something like that you can apply for rebate if you plan to visit Canada (for the paid accommodation and most claim goods), but what about on your way back FROM Canada? Any news about this one?

I am not sure about your question, but I know you can apply for rebate (contact Canada Revenue Agency, if you want to do that!) and you will get the answer within 6 to 8 weeks! With this program, you can have rebate for the GST or HST paid on goods from Canada within 60 days and rebate claim has to be made within one year of the date the goods were exported or the accommodation paid for. Total cost of goods has to be 200$ or more (50$ per good), that's the condition to get the rebate.
