Hi. My boyfriend and I will go next month on our holiday in Italy. Since we are there already, we will also go to visit Mt. Vesuvius, because one friend has told us that we had to do that. So, some good advices from those who have been already there would be very welcomed. Thanks.

Hello. I am quite fan of volcanoes. I travel a lot around the world for seeing volcanoes. I have been several times in Italy because of Etna and Vesuvius. Vesuvius is currently dormant volcano. There is now the National Park of Mt. Vesuvius. Climbing at Mt. Vesuvius is really great undertaking. Once you climb at the top, you can enjoy in the most spectacular views of the Bay of Naples and Pompeii in good weather. I wish you great time. Cheers.
