I am heading to Vegas next month and I just hope my bosses will have enough understanding for that extra free day I asked for. I intend to spend a weekend plus Friday there, so I will be leaving on Thursday afternoon. Anyway, is visiting Las Vegas in October a good idea? I just hope I will find some cheap hotel.

The best thing would be to find some place to stay at the outskirts of the city. Downtown places are just too expensive. If you go by a car, you should consider staying at some place outside town, that would be much cheaper and you will have some more money for enjoying in Vegas. As for the month you have chosen, I don't think there is any difference, I mean it is Vegas!
