I am visiting Honolulu for first time next month. My wife was absolutely against it, she said that we cannot afford it, so I asked for a raise and I got it! Unbelievable! Anyway, We do not know one thing about Honolulu, hotels and things like that, so we would appreciate any help you could give us on this subject. Thanks in advance.

I would recommend The Pink Palace of the Pacific, Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Its garden is simply beautiful; I think that all rooms have ocean view and fast internet connection. It is also known for its walls painted in pink, so it does stand out. Interesting thing is the Royal Hawaiian Luau, party that is held there every Sunday. That is something you must attend. There are more than 20 gifts shops in this hotel and neighboring Sheraton Waikiki. I enjoyed my stay there, I know you would too. As for price, well, you got the raise, use it.
