| Hi everyone, it is Mike. At spring I am visiting Japan, and it would be kind of stupid for me to leave Asia without seeing China also. Yet, my budget is a very limited one, and as I would like to stay in Beijing, it would have to be at the lowest possible cost. The accommodation, of course, has to meet some basic criteria, and most importantly the rooms have to be clean. Does anyone know where I could stay for a week and dont pay much? Thanks in advance. |

| Hey Mike. I have never been to China myself, nor ever really seriously considered it, but I think that if anything on this planet is worth seeing, it definitely is The Great Wall. You have a great chance to see it, when in Beijing. As for the accommodation, I dont think you should look for it among citizens. Maybe you should try looking for a hostel instead of a hotel, because prices are much lower. As your main criterion is the tidiness of the place, I think there will be no problems. Hostels are standardized almost everywhere in the world, and if you dont mind sharing your room with a stranger, or maybe seven sharing a bathroom, they might be just what you are looking for. |
