Vienna in Winter

I will come straight to the point. We have a holiday coming up in December and would love to travel somewhere. I know that not all places are so nice to visit in winter so the options are a bit limited. Perhaps Vienna would be a good idea for a winter holiday? I would appreciate your opinions on the matter. Especially if you live there or have been there around that time.

Vienna is a lovely, charming place full of nice-looking, well-dressed people. I would say there is no bad time of year to go there, so winter, too is an excellent time for a holiday in Vienna. It has so many nice restaurants, and the streets although colder than in summer of course, will be fresh and refreshing.
