Trips to Hawaii have gown down? Why is that?

My wife and I have started to plan our summer vacation. This year we saved more money than we expected, so we thought of going to some exotic place, like Seychelles, or maybe Hawaii. We talked about this with some of our friends and they said that trips to Hawaii have gone down! Why is that? I mean, is there something we should know about?

Well, I think that not only trips, or should I say flights to Hawaii, and all other flights have gone slightly down because of September the 11th. I guess people are afraid to fly that much since that tragic event. I also know that situation with flights to Hawaii has not been that good even before this event. I suppose that overall economical situation in the world is not so bright and it affects everything.
