Next month Im going to Darjeeling. Im a passionate trekker so I hope to have chosen the right destination. Id like to know something about the treks, the terrain and Id appreciate few useful hints, because up to now I havent visited such an exotic trekking resort. Is the climate or humidity problem? I suppose that its different than trekking in continental climate.

Youve made a right decision! Ever since I visited Darjeeling for the first time a couple of years ago, I always go there when I want a good trekking holiday. In my opinion, nature plays a big part in successful and exciting trekking, and colorful natural environment with excellent treks is exactly what this location offers. You definitely wont be disappointed. Just be sure to bring warm clothes and comfy shoes. Good luck!
