Hello there! I was to go to Egypt in October, but I had to cancel the arrangement due to some circumstances and now I want to go to New Zealand. I don't know what I can expect in New Zealand. Some say that it's a wasteland and that I will be bored, and some say that the nature there is fantastic. Is it suitable to go there in October?

Well, the temperatures in New Zealand are not the most pleasant possible in October, but you won't get frozen, and on the other hand, you won't melt from humidity. They may go up to 18 or 19 degrees, but nothing more. For the people from Europe, especially those coming from Scandinavia or Netherlands, these temperatures are quite bearable. New Zealand is not boring at all. There are organized tours around the island which include visits to all interesting places as well as several large cities the capital, first of all. I suggest you to visit some of the ancient caves there such as Waitomo, or any of the numerous national parks such as Tongariro.
