Hi to all. Me and my business associates are going to Lebanon next month. As long as we have to travel a lot across Lebanon, I am very interested in costs of transportation there. We have never been there so we are also curious about transportation in general. Thanks in advance. Regards.

Hello to you. In Lebanon you have all kinds of transportation. Buses are the cheapest way of traveling. Depending on destination you will pay for your ticket around $2 if you are going to Tripoli, for instance. Charles Helou bus station has buses to Northern Lebanon as well to Syria and Jordan. You have also local bus transportation. Getting taxi is a real undertaking. You have to be really patient if you wish to get a cab here. Costs for taxi are about $10-15. Here you have a few taxi agencies that allow you too book them over the internet, or by mail, which will save you hours of waiting. They will charge you a price of arrival. I hope that Ive helped you. Have a good time.
