Hello. My name is Ivana , and I am travelling to Tokyo next month to meet the parents of my future husband. I am from Serbia, but have always dreamt about visiting Japan, and learning more about its culture. As I speak Japanese a bit, I think that this trip will be useful to me in many ways. Dying to see Tokyo Anyway, as I am a vegetarian, I was woondering if someone could give me information about vegetarian restauraunts in Tokyo? But ones that sere traditional Japanese meals?

Hi Ivana! So you are marrying a Japanese guy? It will be a bit of a cultural shock, both for you and for him...I wont even mention parents Wish you both good luck Anyway, when it comes to vegetarian diet and vegetarian food, I think that you will have no problems. As you already know, Japan is a home of the healthy food so there are many vegeterian restaurants there.I heard about a restauraunt called Bon, it is all in budisth style, with traditional tables. You will still need reservations though, and enough money in your pocket. There is also a small place called Brown Rice Cafe, where they serve macrobiotic and organic food, with an English menu. Hope you will enjoy your visit.
