My daughter and I are planning a trip to Tibet and Nepal. I decided to go in September since this is the last September for the next twelve or thirteen years that my daughter is free. Next year she begins school, so we will have to go in July and August. Ive always loved September for vacation because there is no crowd as at the height of season and the climate is more bearable. What do you think?

I think that your idea to travel in September is great. I also prefer late summer to mid summer trips. I was at Tibet last year. However, you wouldnt have to be worried about the high temperatures because Tibet as the highest plateau in the world has a very rough continental climate. Since you are going to Nepal, you may try to do it by climbing the highest Himalaya peak Mount Everest since it divides Tibet from Nepal. I am joking, of course. Ive never been to Nepal, but I think that climate there is very similar to Tibet. There are four seasons in Nepal. Apart from the basic four seasons, there is the fifth season called monsoon.
