Thinking of visiting Berlin beer festival in August! Any suggestions/oppinions?

I am thinking of visiting Berlin beer festival in August! Let me get this straight, I dot even drink beer (well, only extremely cold and right after the basketball match with my friends), but a lot of my friends (including those from the basketball too) and they are convincing me I will have a great time even though Im not a beer fan. So, do you have any suggestions/opinions for me?

This festival is known by the fact that more than 240 breweries from 80 countries present themselves with almost 2000 different types of beer. Incredible! Even though I do not drink beer either, I tried a lot of brands there and some of those almost convinced me of becoming a beer drinker. Anyway, you will feel great walking down the beer mile, which is 2.2 km long. There will also be culinary specialties and live music program on almost 20 stages. Go and enjoy!
