I am a single male from the United Kingdom and I am hoping to go to Italy very soon to go and explore this beautiful country with its rich history. As well as using the Eurostar to travel to the European mainland I want to use the train within Italy to see all that there is to see. But I dont know from whom to buy the rail passes. I heard that Tren Italia sells them, as well as Rail Europe. Which of these two options should I use?
Forget about that and have a look at the website. http://www.seat61.com/Europe.htm gives you a detailed explanation of how to get from London Waterloo to Italy. It tells you everything there is to know. It answers all your questions about fares as well as routes. You have all you need on one site! I hope you have a great time in Italy!
