I want to surprise my daughter with a trip, but I can’t decide between Spain and France. I know she would like both, but I can afford just one. We would go in spring, probably in April. Can you tell me what country is more beautiful at that time? Please help me, that journey has to be lovely.

We went to Spain last year and all I can tell you is the spring is the best time. The weather is nice and warm you can even go to beach, stroll along the sea side or city streets. You did not say what part of the country you are planning to visit, but my advice to you is Barcelona, and of course Madrid and Granada.
France is beautiful, Paris is always a good choice and in the spring Provence with its romantic mediterranean villages, vineyards, great cuisine and of course glamorous cities like Cannes and Nice. You just can’t be wrong chosing either of them.
