Things you will never forget about your first cruise?

I booked my first cruising trip this summer and am supposed to set off in July. I am going to have this cruise along with my family I have a wife and 2 kids and the kids are so excited about it despite the fact they are very young 5 and 7 years and are keep talking about going on boat. Anyway this is my first cruise and it is just that I have heard that the hurricane season is about to begin and we will be cruising around Caribbean so I would actually like to hear something about things you will never forget about your first cruise.

I also had sort of the same situation with my first cruise- I had it with my wife and our son who was about 5 at that time and he also was so excited but after 2 days problems have began. My son was hungry all the time for he disliked the food there on boat I disliked it either for it was so without tastes but I somehow managed to eat something. So in general my son was desperate and whole the cruise we have spent consoling him and plus he got so bored and was crying all the time for all that sea around. So those are the records from my first cruise and to tell you the truth I would never forget this situation but at least we missed some hurricane.
