| I do not know the details, but I was stunned when I heard about the thefts from the Grand Hyatt Erawan in Bangkok guests were subdued to. Not that I think that things like this do not happen in hotels, but if this has happened in Hyatt, with good security measures, can you imagine what might happen in some other, not so high-rated hotels? It makes you wonder, doesn't it? |

| I think that you are right. But also, we have to know that you can do everything in your powers to prevent something disastrous, but if it happens, it happens, and there is nothing you could do about it. Moreover, it is a something done by human, which makes it even harder to predict. No security measures could save you from the lunatic (or desperate man, for that matter). Still, I guess that all those cameras and security people do have the ability to maintain order in almost 90 of time. The rest 10 , well I guess we are on our own in that period. Of course, this ratio should go more in favor of order, when it comes to big and famous hotels, but sometimes it is not the case. Just like with Hyatt in Bangkok. |
