I’m a great anglophile and I can’t wait to go to the UK and see all the cultural and natural attractions. The first stop in my itinerary is Edinburgh. I know that this city is famous for its culture and long tradition in literature. That is why it would be great to take one of the literary tours. What is the most interesting literary tour in Edinburgh?

Oh, Edinburgh is, in my opinion ever more interesting from London! This is the city famous for its University and numerous cultural festivals that take place during the summer. The whole Scotland takes pride in being the home of Robert Burns who popularized his native language and used it in his poems. There is even a tour operator specialized in organizing various literary tours in Edinburgh. I’d suggest you to take the Edinburgh Literary Pub Tour. It is in the form of a dialogue performed by professional actors. Of course, you will have the opportunity to see pubs where famous literary figures attended regularly and to have a drink there. You can also choose some other literary tours from their offer.
