Everyone is saying that the Galapagos Islands are like paradise on earth. Of course, I want to see that for myself. With my boyfriend - again of course - who is paying for it all. But I do want to make sure we hit the best time of year to go there. When would that be?

If you love baking in the sun and getting a great tan, and don't mind loads of other tourists being about at the same time, go for the middle of the summer. I am talking about July, August, that kind of thing. Book in advance though as it does get crowded, and even more so at the nicest resorts.
