Can somebody help me with my Kilimanjaro route? I would really like to go for a vacation there with my wife. We are true adventurous souls, and I am sure we would enjoy it. But I am having a problem planning it all to details, so I could really use a hand. Thanks for all the suggestions and hints

Hey there. I know there are several routes you can take. To be more precise, there are 6 sanctioned routes. The most popular is so called Coca Cola route, or Marangu Route, which lasts 5 or 6 days, depending on your need for acclimatization. During each day you hike 6 hours on average. In this route, you can choose between tents and hints, and it is the only route where you can choose. I have also heard about Machame Route, but you can stay only in tents if you decide to take this one. Lemosho Route is a route where you are accompanied by an armed guide, because you can meet some large game.
