I know its best to go to Thailand during winter, but I August is the only time my boyfriend and me can match our business schedules. I know we maybe shouldve chosen some other destination, but we met on Thailand a few years ago, so we wanted to go there again. What are the temperatures and is it really that bad and rainy in August? Thanks in advance.

Hi! Well, its not that bad, but frankly I dont think youll be able to make the most of your vacation. But, if its any consolation its not the same weather in all parts of Thailand. I hope you are not going to Phuket side, cause the monsoon season there starts in August. Its warm but not too hot. Also, Ive heard that its not so safe for swimming, cant remember why exactly, but I know it has something to do with tides. Watch out for jellyfish, too, while in the sea. Well, this may not be what youve expected to hear, but its better to be prepared. Anyway, I hope your vacation wont prove what Ive said.
