I plan to visit Australia this year. I have always wanted to see the country and all of my friends and acquaintances who were there keep praising the country, its people and natural beauties. I would also like to visit Tasmania. Tasmania’s kayaking destination? If so, I will start packing up my things.

Yes, there are endless possibilities of sea kayaking in Tasmania. There are peninsulas, headlands, high sea cliffs, deep bays, open beaches, wide estuaries, broad channels and sheltered harbors going all the way from the Bathurst Harbor in the southwest to the Freycinet Peninsula in the east. One more thing; sea kayaks are larger, safe and stable vessels. You can pack up much more weight than you would imagine squeezing into your backpack. You can put sleeping bag, stove, tent, clothes, gear, food and whatever else you choose. It will fit into the kayak. Therefore you can plan overnight camping by sea kayak. It is a wonderful experience.
