We just came back from a great holiday in Diyabakir and we saw so many amazing things over there. One thing that I had not expected to see over there was a Syriac Orthodox church - stunning and one of the best things I saw during the trip. Have a look at it if you are in the area.

Hi to you! That should definitely be something that should be worthwhile seeing. Just one question though. Is this church actually still functioning, operating, can you attend services there? Or is it more like a museum? I'd like to see it regarldess, but seeing a Sunday service would be especially good!
