| I have never been interested in traveling to standard places, seeing standard things like museums, monuments etc. I am more an adventurous type so I tend to go to safaris and exotic places. Right now, I am planning on going to Alaska, specifically Anchorage. So, I need suggestions for things to do in Alaska for a fist timer. Do you have any? |

| Well, I can only tell you what my friend did when he went there. He stayed in Captain Cook hotel, which is one of several excellent hotels there. He said that dog sledding was the most interesting thing he has done. He mentioned some new sport, cross-country skiing while being pulled by a dog, if I understood correctly. He said that fjords and glaciers are most impressive. He had an overall great time, for a vacation that is far from ordinary. |
