| I am planning to go to a tour on Europe for a month or two. I have never been to some other country and, frankly, I would not like to see only the standard tourist sites, like Eiffel Tower in Paris, for example, but many countrysides, the way of life there. However, I would like if someone could give me the advice regarding customs in countries. What should I do if I encounter some strange customs? |

| Going first time to a foreign country always produces some kind of surprise with all the diversity that exists out there. Going to several foreign countries is even more difficult (and beautiful at the same time), and wanting to get familiar with many of the customs outside of the major cities and tourist routes will definitely get you in contact with customs you will possibly not understand immediately. The best thing you can do if this is your plan, is to get to know the countries you are visiting, get as much information as you can, read about each. This is the best way to adjust to potentially strange customs you will see, which will also make your time there easier, since everyone like when a stranger knows their customs. If you want to stay off the major tourist routes, this is the best thing you can do to prepare yourself. |
