Hi! Weve booked our honeymoon trip to Paris, but when I checked all the information I found were going to spend our nights in Velizy. Agent told us that the place is very close to Paris, but Im just not sure about it. Can you help me about it, because Id like to spend my honeymoon without transportation problems. Thanks.

Hi! Dont worry. Velizy is near Fontainebleau, just a few km from center of Paris. You should use C line for transportation. A theres no need to panic. Paris is nice town, but not so big as London or New York. Transportation lines are fast and directions are near. So I believe youll have a pleasant honeymoon.

Vélizy-Villacoublay is a commune in the southwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 13.9 km from the center of Paris and 3.2 km east of Versailles.

It is served by no station of the Paris Métro, RER, or suburban rail network. The closest station to Vélizy-Villacoublay is Chaville–Vélizy station on Paris RER line C. This station is located in the neighboring commune of Viroflay, 1.7 km from the town center of Vélizy-Villacoublay.

The town is also serviced by the A86 autoroute, the 118 national route (RN118), and the RN286.
