During next couple of weeks I will be spending time in Columbus. I have no friends here so I was hoping you can be my virtual guides and tell me the best way to spend those couple of weeks. Just please, keep in mind that I have a limited budget and dont get carried away. Thanks a lot.

I know where you are coming from, when you say that your budget is limited so I will recommend a couple of sightseeing places that are free of cost (if you are looking from the outside. Lets start. First of all you should visit the Greek-Revival State Capitol, Rhode State Office Tower, LeVeque Tower and One Nationwide Plaza. You can use city transportation services to see all of this. If you are into art, modernism especially, then you shouldnt miss Columbus Museum of Art. You should visit the Franklin Park and its famous botanical garden. And we must not forget the Jazz and Rib Fest in the downtown area that is held every July and it is free of charge also.
