We spent couple days in Bengali. And one of those days, the all people were on the streets. They were very laud, singing and dancing. And they cried: Shubho Nobo Borsho. But we didnt know what that meant. We did understand the importance of celebration but we didnt know why is celebration. If someone knows, please help us understanding.

I was in Bengali in April. I was there for a 2 weeks. It was great. There I had the best time in my life yet. I was there from April 10-24 . So we were there for theirs New Year. The streets were full, and all people on the streets and yelled: Shubho Nobo Borsho!!! Shubho Nobo Borsho!!! And they were cheerful and kind . And celebration lasted for couple of days. Shubho Nobo Borsho means happy New Year. On Bengali calendar April,15 is their first day in year. And that is very important day for them, and they celebrate it cheerfully and with smile on their faces. We felt like we were the part of them. We celebrated side-by-side with them, and it was fantastic. But you already know that.
