My husband and I are looking into doing a cruise, which does sound really lovely. But I am someone who does like to be on the move quite a lot and the thought of sitting on board of a ship ALL THE TIME makes me go a bit claustrophobic. In combination with lots of shore excursions though, we could have a really great vacation. Can you tell me what kind of shore excursions we can expect to be offered in Italy?
Many cruise companies organise shore trips, during which you will get a guided tour of a city together with other passengers of the same cruise ship. This is expensive of course, and you dont get any choice as to what to do. An alternative to this is to explore the city by yourself at least some of the time. Make sure to be back in time for the ship though!
