Shanghai Restaurant in the Peninsula Hotel on Michigan Ave?

I was wandering to ask you all if you had been in Shanghai Restaurant in the Peninsula Hotel on Michigan Ave? My friend recently told me about his Peking duck dinner out there and he was very satisfied. I have never tested Peking duck and I was thinking of taking my wife on special dinner. What are your opinions?

I must say that you have to prepare money for that. It is kind of place that you plan to visit. It has a great terrace placed on the height almost as the top of the old water tower on Michigan Ave. About the food I personally was satisfied but I have heard from some people that it is not worth the price. I cant really say because it is the best Chinese food I have tasted. The dcor of the place is great and waitresses wear silk dresses which I liked a lot. I think that this famed place is a must see. I am sur that your wife will feel special that night and that can be enough. Dont you think?
