I will be traveling in September to Europe and there are several destinations I was considering favorites for my trip. I would like to know if it is good idea to go to Serbia and Ukraine that time of the year. Are these countries worth my trip, or I should look into some other possible destination? Thanks for any help.

September is great time of the year to make your holiday plans. When it comes to weather in these two countries you mention, you should have no problem. When it comes to Serbia, September is one of the most pleasant months of the year, as the summer heats have stopped and it is temperate, without much rain either. I recommend you plan at least a week in Serbia, about 3 days in Belgrade, and the remaining 4 days a tour around the country. It is not too big, a lot smaller than Ukraine, actually, but it is well worth a week. With Ukraine, when it comes to weather, the things are not too different, but still you need to count on a bit cooler days. Nevertheless, it will still be a pleasant trip, and I suggest you structure it in a similar way as a trip to Serbia. Spend several days in Kiev and the remaining time exploring other parts of Ukraine. All in all, I recommend you going there in September.
