Hi! I would like to spend my holidays in Nova Scotia. I've heard that people with adventurous spirit as I am can really spend unthinkable moments there in diving into the sea, climbing mountains and hills, playing golf. I plan to go there in September or October. What the weather will be like? And could I find some hotel at that time? I hope there won't be much crowd.

Nova Scotia has a very sharp climate due to its position. However, thanks to the Atlantic ocean which somehow makes it milder in winter and sharpens it in summer, the summer temperatures may sometimes raise up to 30 degrees whereas the temperature of water surface cannot be higher than 17, 18 degrees. You'd better go there in September if you can choose between September and October because the influence of pleasant summer can still be felt in September. However, you shouldn't be deceived by the season. You should know that summer mornings and evenings can be very cool in Nova Scotia. The warmest period is between August and October.
