I'm planning a trip to Santorini this summer, and am wondering what village and hotel I should choose. Any suggestion can be helpful, so if you have some idea, post it! By the way we are going with three girls so we are looking for some cool atmosphere and city with reach nightlife! Are there cabs on the island? Should we rent a car to get around?

Santorini is a wonderful island, I wish you to have a good time there. Be careful not to go there without doing the hotel reservation previously, especially for the months of July - August. It is a small island and you can easily find a taxi and go around (it is not costly, but ask every time before taking a taxi how much will it cost to you).
