SE Asia Which Country to visit?

We're going to China from Dec 1 - Dec 20 and will be staying in Hotel in the center of the city. Since we will finish all our work in China up to Dec 10, we have more than a week to explore sights of South Eastern Asia and countries in that region. Since that week isnt a long time, we decided to visit only one country. What country would you suggest us?

Malaysia ! Malaysia is a federation of thirteen states in Southeast Asia. The country consists of two geographical regions divided by the South China Sea. Malaysia is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multilingual society, and thats why its so popular among tourist from the west. Since a week isnt a long time, I suggest you to visit just cities Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya!
