I decided to buy a cottage at the Rocky Mountains and move there. Ive been living in a city centre for years and since I have two years to go until retirement, my husband (who is retired) and I are making plans these days about where to move afterwards. We saw some pictures on the internet and were fascinated by the Rocky Mountains. Our daughter lives in Canada, so we would get the chance to see her more often. What do you think about the Canadian part of the Rockies?
The Rocky Mountains are wonderful for its lakes, forests, springs and meadows. Its nice to rent a cottage or a cabin and spend your vacation there. However, I am not sure if it is a good idea to sell your house in Europe and move to the Rockies for good. It lacks the urban atmosphere you want to run from, but Im afraid that you get so much used to it that after just one month at the Rockies youll be sorry for not being able to come back to the urban jungle of European cities. The best solution would be to spend several months in Europe or some big city in Canada and several months in the mountain. The Rocky Mountains are especially gorgeous in spring.
