On my way to Finland and Norway I stopped in Latvia. I was going to spend just one day there but I stayed for a full week! I was really surprised with the country and its capital, Riga. Riga is truly a great city. You can enjoy the cobbled streets and artistic architecture and warm bars. The Old Town is truly magnificent. There is seemingly endless number of church steeples and castle turrets. People are nice and friendly.

Well, according to your description, this place is just something I would like to see. My wife is already preparing for the trip so Riga, here we go! SmileSmileSmile We were curious about Latvia already so your experience has confirmed our theory that these new Baltic countries are good and nice places to visit.
