Residenza Canali in Rome?

My wife and I are going to Rome on a romantic trip next month and we will be visiting the Vatican too of course. Now a friend has said that he heard that the hotel Residenza Canali is one of the nicest in the area and I like the sound of that. But as he'd never been there personally I can't be too sure. Have you? Can you give some more info?

Sure, it is very nice and full of character. We were there last year and personally I had a great time. The bathroom is what I liked best. But the room, and also the balcony, were very stunning as well. They even have their very own web site! You can see it all for yourself and even read about it in English.
