Residenza Canali in Rome?

My wife and I are going to Rome on a romantic trip next month and we will be visiting the Vatican too of course. Now a friend has said that he heard that the hotel Residenza Canali is one of the nicest in the area and I like the sound of that. But as he'd never been there personally I can't be too sure. Have you? Can you give some more info?

Sure, it is very nice and full of character. We were there last year and personally I had a great time. The bathroom is what I liked best.
