Im really in a dilemma. I know its virtually impossible to spend even one single day in New York City without a car, especially when you have things to do in various parts of the city. Now, I dont know what to do when I get there. Shall I rely on cab services or is it a better idea to rent a car and dont depend on anybody?
This is a hard question because there are two sides of the coin. Its good to have your own or rented car and you know that you can jump in it and in no time be on the desired location. But, the problem is that its very hard to find a parking location in New York. You cant always park wherever you want, and whats the point in renting a car if you can park it 5 miles away from your apartment. Thats why a cab is a better option, but sometimes in the peak hours and during weekends it can be hard to catch one. But you can always call a cab service and order a ride. There is also the Tube and other means of public transport that you can use while in New York. The decision is only up to you.
