Rental car in South Africa and traveling through the continent?

I am planning on spending my 3 weeks summer vacation in Africa –I will be positioned in South Africa, Joburg precisely but would also be traveling through the continent and therefore I would need some car I guess. So can you suggest to me some good rental car in South Africa there providing also this possibility of getting out of the country with the car for I would be traveling through the continent-not that much far away but am planning on going to Mozambique and Botswana and maybe even Namibia?

I am positive Hertz rental car in Joburg provides these car rental services but you may also try to rent a car there in Avis, Imperial, Tempest or whatever there are many rental cars there in Joburg and I don’t think you will have a problem finding the way to rent a car there for traveling through the continent. At least my friend rented a car there last year and he traveled all the way to Zimbabwe with that car.
