Recommendation for a stay at a Vineyard

Were traveling to France in a few days and my stubborn husband wants us to stay at a vineyard in order to see how wine is made. I dont know what I would do there and Id like to go to Paris or some other city. Can you recommend me a vineyard that is not so far from some urban location? Thank you.

You have the wrong idea of how it all looks like. These stays at vineyards are actually pretty exclusive and you can choose the region of France, for example, according to type of wine you like. These are, usually, only a few days tours, and your accommodation can be a certain luxurious chateau and during your stay, you visit vineyards, taste wine and enjoy. You should only decide where exactly you want to go and I think you have to book it in advance since these tours are very popular. You need not worry, because youll have even better time than in some urban ares.
