Reaching Mykonos from Naxos?

I’m planning a trip to Mykonos this October. I want to relax from the city crowd and spend some time alone with my fiancée. It doesn’t matter that October is out of season so we probably won’t be able to swim. But since my fiancée is an archeologist she wants us to go to Naxos first to see the ancient remains. How to get from Naxos to Mykonos?

I don’t know what the weather like in October on Mykonos is, but I guess that if you just want some peace and quiet, you’ll find it there. But bear in mind that it’s a famous jet set resort and that the nightlife is very rich there, meaning that it’s full of disco clubs and similar. But I suppose that it’s a bit quieter in October. There is a regular ferry service connecting all Greek islands and the mainland. You can go from Athens to Naxos by ferry and from Naxos to Mykonos also. But, have you considered the idea of a cruise through Greek archipelagos? Maybe that would be even more interesting solution. I think there is no flight from Naxos to Mykonos.
