| I never thought I would be interested in visiting countries like India or some other country in South Asia. Mainly because I never like to travel far from home and I do have some small issues with flying. Anyway, my husband got a free travel to India, New Delhi, more specifically for his contribution at work, so we will be heading there next month. Unfortunately, I have heard some frightening news about some tragedies related to rainy weather. How often this happens in India? |

| Well, every year there is a rainy season in South Asia, that can pass without any major consequences, but sometimes there are even human victims. This year, in June, a fierce storm attacked Pakistan and also affected India. Thousands were evacuated, but still the death toll is around 150. And, unfortunately, more storms are headed that way. This is all happening in southern parts of the country, Andhra Pradesh area, Delhi should be quite safe. |
