Rafting on the Nile

Is it possible having rafting on the Nile –my friend was telling me something about this for I always thought Nile is such quite river with no places for rafting I mean I was in Luxor and Cairo ones and I never thought it is possible rafting on the Nile but now my husband would like to have this experience and he is about to set off for some place in Uganda for this Nile rafting.

Nile is not all about Egypt for the Nile actually begins so long away fro Egypt coming out of the Lake Victoria and first 30km of its flows in Uganda is just perfect for rafting. I rafted there on the Nile last year and this rafting lasts 2 days and we was completely equipped and even we had 2 guides , the breakfast was perfect and what to tell about landscape there. I mean I had such a great time there rafting on the Nile that I already think when and how to get prepared for another rafting there again-it was such a fun!
