Hi people. I wish to visit Siem Reap for a few months. I have never been there. So I am wondering if someone could give me answers to my questions. I am particularly interested in temples in this region, and guides. Then, I would appreciate good advices about hotels and food. And finally - is it safe? Thanks in advance.

Hello. I was curious about all of that when I was first visit Siem Reap. I can tell you the temples are indeed awesome. Youll be needed minimum three days to visit most of temples. There are three that you must see: Ta Phrom, Bayon, and Angkor Wat. You can visit temples on your own, but it is better to hire guide. Just ask at the reception of your hotel to recommend you a guide. Considering hotels, my recommendation is Two Dragons, Garden Village Guesthouse, and Green Bamboo. You have lots of restaurants in center of Siem Reap, including Indian restaurants. Food is not expensive. Since the Siem Reap is mostly tourist place, it is quite safe. But I dont recommend you to walk far away from touristy areas. Have a good time.
