| Hi. We will be staying in Prague for a week, and after that we would like to go on to Budapest, probably by train. It will be the second time we have been to Prague, so we have a good idea of what it will be like, but we have never been to Budapest. Has anyone here been there? What did they think? Thanks. |

| Hello. Budapest is a huge city, so you definitely wont get bored. You can fly there by plane, but the train is also a possibility. There are direct connections from Prague, so it wont be a difficult journey. Once in the city you can get around easily by metro, tram or bus. Taxis are also reasonably priced. Sights you may want to visit include the royal palace; a popular destination for tourists and you will understand why when you see it. The national gallery, historical museum and fishermans bastion are all must-sees. There is also a museum of marzipan which I have never been to, but it sounds interesting! |
