| Im planning a trip to Zambia and neither my friends who will accompany me nor I, arent adventurers. This will, actually, be our first trip to wilderness and we need some advice form the experienced globetrotters. What locations we should visit and what we should avoid? Were not interested in dangerous and extreme adventures so suggest a relaxed, regular tourist route. Thanx. |

| Right. According to what youve said, your first destination should be Zambias capital, Lusaka, where you can find accommodation and which could be your base. Its a popular tourist destination and your sightseeing can start there by learning something about Zambias culture and arts. But the most attractive part of your journey is visiting its natural beauties. Victoria Falls, according to certain sources the largest waterfall in the world, and its national park Mosi-oa-Tunya are one of the major attractions of Zambia. Besides visiting its gorges, you can see a diverse wildlife and have a complete African experience. Lake Kariba should also be on your list. Its not a natural but an artificial lake containing an enormous mass of water which is said to have caused minor earthquakes in the area. Herds of elephants and hippos, as well as crocodiles can be spotted there. |
