Planning first trip to Israel

Im planning first trip to Israel. Ive always thought its a fascinating country and wanted to visit it, but somehow these safety issues have always stayed in my way. In other words, I didnt have guts to get on a plane and fly to Tel Aviv. This summer Im definitely going there, at least to visit Wailing Wall. What are the basic things I have to know about trip to Israel?

It is true that Israel is not the safest place on earth but millions of tourists from all parts of the planet visit it throughout the year. There is nothing in particular that you should know about trip to Israel. Its the same as anywhere else. The terrorist attacks do happen occasionally, but there is no sure way to protect yourself. My advice is not to visit the most dangerous areas and to stay within the city limits. Wailing Wall is the place that everybody coming to Israel should visit. Its the holiest spot for each Jew and you should know to respect that place and treat it in a solemn manner. So, relax and dont think only about things that may happen.
