I cant wait for the season of holidays to begin! Everybody likes Xmas best, but my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving Day. Thats why I decided to spend it in a great style this year. How about Paris as a destination? Im not sure whether French celebrate it but I can still go and order the traditional Txgiving dishes in a good restaurant.

French do not celebrate Thanksgiving Day because its a traditionally American holiday dating back to the Pilgrim Fathers era. I know that recently the tradition of adopting American and British holidays has become widespread, but the most popular holiday is Halloween, probably due to the fact that its the background for numerous movies. Still, I also think that you can go to Paris with your family and do some shopping (thats not quite in the spirit of this holiday, but never mind), do sightseeing and in the evening you can have your holiday dinner in one of the restaurants at the Eiffel Tower. Paris is not beautiful and romantic only in spring but throughout the whole year.
