As you are going to Canadian Rockies, I suppose you will be staying in Banff, as it is an excellent town. There are really nice places to eat there. If you like steaks, I suggest you go to Bumper's. It is really good restaurant, a little off the center, but well worth a visit. The meals are really good and you will enjoy the ambient. Another, more expensive and more exclusive steakhouse is Saltlik. On the other hand, Maple Leaf Grille has more diverse food and is better for having a dinner then lunch.
