| Well, hello. I went on that cruise last year. My advice to you is to make some good investigation before you book the cruise. First, you must get Russian visa which is not cheap. Without that visa, you wont be able to leave the cruise boat and to enjoy sightseeing St. Petersburg. The visa costs the same; either you stay there for a day or for a month. When you get down the boat, youll see that the port is situated in the industrial area of the city which is really depressing. It can even happen that your boat doesnt get off in Petersburg. It will be waste, because it is one of the most beautiful points to see on that cruise. Sometimes, because of the crowd of all the cruising ships, the voyage can be shortening. |
